Dear Kossacks: (CC: PBO, and Senator Brown)
Thank you for reminding me, daily, why I never questioned my vote. Nor my need to vote. Nor my need to do more. With this in the Mail Box I think if I cant make a call it is time to open my wallet or lose it.
Yours Truly,
CA
Mr. President, the vote is in the mail :-)
To Mr Romney and Cronies:
Thank you for injecting so much money into my state. But nothing you said for a moment made me think to vote for you. I do not know who you are. All I know is you have a lot of money and will say anything to scare anyone. If the economy is so bad why have you made so much money of late? Why did you pioneer outsourcing jobs? Those things don't stick. You and all the Senators who are running based solely out of entitlement with their own money are what is wrong with the discourse in this country.
Thank you for making it so easy to ask for a ballot and bubble in another name.
-CA
P.S. I am not a 47 percenter, and still don't want you to take care of me.
I did. And I know my father did. So as far as I know our state is going 2-0 lol for both.
But seriously the work I see as beginning. If I can't volunteer I can pay.
This was my first experience voting via mail. And I see immediately the pit-falls. At church- "take everyone take out your ballots where it says __ put in __" (or work) although I am sure that'd make some news. Or in a household a woman having her husband standing over her.
But for me, I wanted to send a message. I don't care how much more money you dump into phone calls, radio, etc. I am voting now. Again. For a President who:
1. Passed Health Care Reform
2. Passed the Stimulus: Twelve months later, the private sector began producing more jobs than it was losing, and it has continued to do so for twenty-three straight months, creating a total of nearly 3.7 million new private-sector jobs.
3. Passed Wall Street Reform
4. Ended the War in Iraq: Ordered all U.S. military forces out of the country. Last troops left on December 18, 2011.
5. Began Drawdown of War in Afghanistan (and ending)
6. Eliminated Osama bin laden
7. Turned Around U.S. Auto Industry
8. Recapitalized Banks
9. Repealed “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”
10. Toppled Moammar Gaddafi
11. Told Mubarak to Go
12. Reversed Bush Torture Policies: Two days after taking office
13. Improved America’s Image Abroad:
14. Kicked Banks Out of Federal Student Loan Program, Expanded Pell Grant Spendin
Created Race to the Top, Boosted Fuel Efficiency Standards, Increased Support for Vetarans, Tightened Sanctions (that are working) on Iran, and on and on
Mr. President. Senator Brown please keep it up. And As I wish to keep my wallet if anyone has any suggestions where my money is best spent (other than for these two) I would be happy to hear.
Have a great Friday (I have). . .
