Fox News is reporting that Hurricane Sandy is already "Obama's Katrina." Although the storm is not scheduled to hit landfall until sometime Monday, Fox's Brett Baier reports, "It is irrelevant that the storm has not yet hit. This is already a disaster for Obama, who has preemptively failed to respond to the havoc that has not yet happened."
Appearing as a guest on the show, Romney spokesman John Sununu stated, "It's clear that Obama only sending FEMA help to "certain people" in the path of the storm, as "affirmative action" for "certain people" who were the most affected by Katrina.
Sununu denied any racial connotations.
Meanwhile, Ed Gillespie, on Stuart Varney's show, said, "people in Ohio are disgusted with the way that Obama did not evacuate Columbus, Cleveland and Cincinnati, which bore the brunt of the future storm."
Fox also reports that Governor Romney, speaking in Northern Ohio, said, "Although Sandy has been and will be a tragedy for the people of the Midwest because of President Obama's anticipated negligence, there is a silver lining: It has and will indefinitely postpone the removal to China of Jeep plants in the area." Romney also added, "This is what happens when you apologize to nature."
Other Fox personalities also weighed in. Sean Hannity stated that Sandy was not only Obama's Katrina, but also Obama's Benghazi, Waterloo, Dunkirk, Pearl Harbor, Hindenberg, Titanic, Pompeii, Krakatoa and Bull Run.
