Ordinarily, this would be another "dog bites man" story: GOP Congressman Steve King says something outrageous. But King is in a tight race in the Iowa 4th and it's 6 days from the election. I shouldn't be surprised that King would say something like that disaster funds need to allocated in a way so people couldn't buy Gucci bags. King being misogynist is not a surprise, he's virulently anti-choice and echoed Todd Akin's comments about not ever hearing about rape or incest victims becoming pregnant. Heck, King supports dogfighting so nothing is too low for King.
The Democratic challenger to King is Christie Vilsack and Iowa has been early voting for about a month now. So if any Iowans feel really outraged by King's heartless comments and they haven't already voted, they could vote right now for Vilsack.

There are six days left until November 6th, let's keep Getting Out The Vote in Iowa, and hopefully on November 7th, Steve King will know that he is out of a job and Nancy Pelosi gets one vote closer to getting her gavel back.
