According to Judd Legum of Think Progressive there have been some last minute shenanigans going on in Ohio a critical swing state in the Presidential election. Jon Husted, Ohio's Secretary of State has provoked court action due to his 11th hour directive regarding provisional ballots.
The directive, issued Friday, lays out the requirements for submitting a provisional ballot. The directive includes a form which puts the burden on the voter to correctly record the form of ID provided to election officials. Husted also instructed election officials that if the form is not filled out correctly by a voter, the ballot should not be counted.
According to Legum this could swing the entire election. Please help to get the word out about this high handed occurrence.

"We are now being told the deadline for the State's submission is late Tuesday, with reply briefs due from the plaintiffs on November 8 and a written order from the judge to follow. Even more reason to realize that if the election comes down to Ohio it will be a while before we know who has won."

It is amazing the power that these Secretary of States hold. They should be appointed as nonpartisan leaders who are expected to hold a sacred trust to ensure a democratic voting process. Instead this particular Secretary of State is acting as a villain in the midst of intrigue. We can not allow another election to be stolen from the American people because of greed and power. Mr. Romney has the wealth to do this and he is a man who is used to getting what he wants.
