Cheat Sheets: Senate | Gov | House | Ballot Measures

6:29 PM PT: The first wave of NM-Sen exit polls back out to Martin Heinrich (D) 52, Heather Wilson (R) 46.

6:33 PM PT: GA-12: Dem Rep. John Barrow is rocking it, up 57-43 with 43% in. But this is a polarized districts with some very blue and some very red sections.

6:34 PM PT: Once upon a time, the netroots raised money to help Ben Chandler win a major upset in a 2004 special election.

6:40 PM PT: NC-13 was called for the GOP a while ago. We had it at Safe R, but sadly, it's a GOP pickup, because this is retiring Dem Rep. Brad Miller's old seat (sorta).

6:43 PM PT: MA-Sen has been called for Democrat Elizabeth Warren, who unseats GOP Sen. Scott Brown. Awesome!

6:44 PM PT: FL-02: Southerland (R) 53-47 with 95% in

FL-10: Webster (R) 52-48 with 89% in

FL-16: Vern (R) 53.5-46.5 with 94% in - Fitzgerald just conceded

FL-18: West (R) 50.4-49.6 with 81% in

FL-22: 55-45 Frankel (D) with 83% in - Frankel just declared victory

FL-26: 54-43 Garcia (D) with 49% in

6:45 PM PT: IN-Sen has been called for Democrat Joe Donnelly, who stages a massive upset in defeating Republican Richard Mourdock.

6:51 PM PT: Story of the night at the county level is increased polarization. Overall, red counties are getting redder, blue counties are getting bluer. Turnout is generally high except some parts of the Bible Belt.

6:55 PM PT: OH-07, an extreme outside chance for Dems (at best), has been called for GOP Rep. Bob Gibbs.

6:58 PM PT: OK-02 called for Republican Markwayne Mullin. A GOP pickup.

6:59 PM PT: Unsurprising Dem hold in NM-01 for Michelle Lujan Grisham. (Martin Heinrich's open seat.)

7:01 PM PT: FL-02 has been called for Rep. Steve Southerland (R). We had this race at Lean R.

7:03 PM PT: 10pm ET poll closing times: ID, IA, MT, NV, UT

7:05 PM PT: NC-08: No surprise, Dem Rep. Larry Kissell has lost, decisively. Another GOP pickup.

7:07 PM PT: MD-06: No surprise, a Dem pickup for John Delaney, who beats GOP Rep. Roscoe Bartlett.

7:10 PM PT (Kaili Joy Gray): New thread here.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
