Christmas is coming up. The economy is still down.

Government tells you that they control job growth. Corporations tell you they control job growth. Do you know who controls job growth??? WE THE PEOPLE!

How can you and I create jobs when we do not own a company? By shopping and buying local! When we buy local, we are helping our own local economy, which creates jobs right here at home! We do not need corporations, we do not need government. We can do this.

If you REALLY want things to get better, support your local small businesses and artists. That is it, that is all that it takes. Instead of buying corporate products, buy local. Not just for Christmas, this must become a year round habit! Keep that money right here at home, create local jobs. This all adds up when each locality does this.

Seriously, think about it. Our economy strengthens as people are able to buy things, we did not have these greedy super- corporations, all we had was local economy. As economy became world- wide and corporate owned, it ruined our economy! Money was no longer kept local. Bring our $$$ and our economy back to the people!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

....we need people working to buy all the shit that the so-called job creators are selling. Why can't the conservatives figure that out?

Only the weak & defeated are called to account for their crimes.

They have been shooting themselves in the foot, if they refuse to create jobs, we cannot buy their goods because we have no money. It isn't rocket science, but they cannot seem to get this. They forget, it is us "little people" that they prefer to think of as "peasants" that have put them where they are. They didn't build this, WE did. This is exactly what we need to prove.

retail America has done more damage and job loss to our economy than anything else.

The consolidation of almost every industry and business under massive corporate structures controlled by a few billionaires.

Creating a wage environment of poverty and desperation.

Yeah, they'll give us thousands of jobs of menial pay, and soon no one can afford to pay for their products - or even survive.

And these idiot pundits need to forget about a Romney cabinet position, we may as well put the Fox in charge of the hen house.

If not us ... who? If not here ... where? If not now ... when?
