I don't think I need to make too big of a diary here. I will start with a sad admission - Yahoo is my browser homepage. It's like Jerry Springer 'dirty habit' of homepages and I won't apologize for that. I watch little or no TV so I feel like it keeps me in touch with a really generalized simplified picture of how some grand montage of 'the pulse' is thinking - I'm probably glaringly off target there so I won't go too much into that but I was really taken today reading a couple of "news" pieces talking about how "close" the election was and I realized that this is a really strong theme/meme/whatever out there today and it's just SO wrong and I wanted to build something easy to look at and explain that it's .... just wrong.
So, I'm not a bumper sticker guy - can't do 8 words - but - I was pretty happy with what I think is a shareable, visual item that clobbers the message of a "close election" with easy to direct numbers (provided by non other than Faux-News) and wanted to offer it to share.
BTW/FYI - I give them the concept that GWB won a mandate because I think it helps - whether you believe that or not it's a mainstream accepted principle and it helps the cause here - I would strongly state that making an argument against that 2004 mandate given the current numbers is shooting yourself in the foot.
Here it is - share away if it makes sense to you :)
