Here is what I told him.

"Conservatives have had their chance to prove that lower taxes lead to more jobs.  It did not work.
Your callous disregard of the middle class cannot be hidden by the rhetorical loop that keeps streaming from Republican mouths.
The movement that elected President Obama to a second term will continue.  We know what you are doing.  We see who you are.  We feel our strength.  We will stand firm."

Here is where to contact him:

I have no illusions about the effect of this, but thought it would be a good idea nonetheless.

There should be no doubt about the people's resolve.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from your hotlist?
Are you sure you want to remove your recommendation? You can only recommend a diary once, so you will not be able to re-recommend it afterwards.
Rescue this diary, and add a note:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from Rescue?
Choose where to republish this diary. The diary will be added to the queue for that group. Publish it from the queue to make it appear.

You must be a member of a group to use this feature.

Add a quick update to your diary without changing the diary itself:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary?
(The diary will be removed from the site and returned to your drafts for further editing.)
(The diary will be removed.)
Are you sure you want to save these changes to the published diary?

Do you wish to remain in the House majority?

Do you realize that there are millions of conservatives that make less than $250,000 and they're persuadable to vote for a Democrat that wants to lower their taxes?

Can't you see the political climate is changing? That you cannot retain power as long as you stubbornly refuse to acknowledge the results of the last election?

If Republicans lose the illusion of being more fiscally responsible and being the champions of lower taxes, the only voters that will pull the lever for you are the religious nuts that still believe in the illusion of your party's moral superiority.

It's almost over for you sir... get with the program, or get left behind.

We've been spelling it wrong all these years. It's actually: PRO-GOP-ANDA

many like him in congress, are earning a LOT of money by holding the "double down crazy line", even if it makes no political sense.  It makes financial sense.... to their bank accounts.  They aren't representing the people anymore.  Only themselves.

  •  I just emailed Batman (0+ / 0-)

I expect to get as much of a response as emailing Boehner, McConnell, or any of the other R congress people or senators who have found it more politically profitable to pander to the small, extremist portions of the electorate at the expense of the good of the country. They have no honor left, and they couldn't care less about what anyone outside that tiny bubble want.

I emailed him too. You know my Rep never responds to my emails. So who knows what to expect from an organic personality disorder

    •  I get responses from my (R) rep, but they are (0+ / 0-)

just the usual canned nonsense.  At this point, I hammer on her (respectfully) a couple times a week.  We'll see how long I keep getting anything back.

What exactly do you expect to be different if the tax breaks for 2% of the country do not return to Clinton era rates and tax loopholes are closed? Magically the "Job Creators" will stop shipping jobs overseas? The "Job Creators" will stop parking their money offshore to avoid/evade taxes? Roads and bridges will build themselves? Kids will educate themselves? Enough is enough. Please get to work for 98% of Americans. History will not be kind to you Mr. Speaker, unless you get it together and start acting like a leader and a statesman. The Senate has passed the President's plan, It's time for you to stop obstructing and begin to earn your paycheck, healthcare and all the other benefits that you enjoy as a public servant.  It's time to stop denying your fellow Americans by holding our country back from being great again.

    •  That is excellent. I like the part about the (0+ / 0-)

perspective history will provide.  I've used this as leverage with my republican Congressperson:  "Do you really want to continue enabling this to be the least productive Congress in the last 100 years?"
