Greta van Susteren: Let me ask you about something else, Governor. Time Magazine announcing its Person of the Year. Once again President Obama. Now Time Magazine says it is for the time the President's success "in forging a new majority to create a more perfect union." Governor Palin, your thoughts on that.
Sarah Palin: The path towards a more perfect union is our Constitution and I think that we have seen examples of our President not necessarily following the Constitution. In fact, wanting to change the Constitution because he sees it as a charter of negative and he's made statements in the past about his view of our Constitution. Following it is the blueprint towards a more perfect union. But Time Magazine, you know, there's some irrelevancy there to tell you the truth.
I mean consider their list of the most influential people in the country and the world, some who have made that list - yours truly! That ought to tell you something right there regarding the credence we should give Time Magazine and their list of people.
Greta van Susteren: Alright, that's an interesting concept.
I rarely agree with Mrs. Potato Head, but I have to give her this one. This is not to say that President Obama didn't deserve to be
Time's Person of the Year. That point can be debated. However, considering they chose this woman for the same slot once illustrates that yes,
Time Magazine is pretty irrelevant. For Sarah Palin to grip that concept and readily admit that her selection proved that point is pretty lofty for her.
Don't expect her to use this new-found epiphany and quietly slink away into the Alaskan wilderness as any decent person might do. She may be irrelevant, but as long as Fox News and Reality Television exist, she will always find someone willing to give her a paycheck to annoy the living hell out of America.
