Republican used car salesman:

"I'll give you $1000 for your car and the car is $5000."

Washington Democrats:

"Gimme $2000 for my car and the car for $2500."

Republican used car salesman:

"Okay, how about $1250 for your car and the car for $5000."

"Tell you what, why don't you tell me what deal I should be willing to accept?"

"I'll meet you half way: $1500 for my car and $3750 for the car."

"It's a deal! Let me go talk to my sales manager and get it approved. Nice doin business with ya!" (sucker!)



"Wow. My manager wont approve this man. Furthermore, I've been fired. So...sorry mate."

"Not a problem. Is there anyone else who can help me with this sale?"

New Republican used car salesman:

"Hi. Can I help you with anything?"

"Hmm...tell you what. Meet me halfway...offer me a number."

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.
