Twas the week before Christmas ... And all through  DK

Not a diarist was happy ... Not one single day

The election was past us ... it turned out to be fun

So the posters were happy ... Saint Obama had won

The bloggers were certain ... their views had no flaws

With visions of Presidents ... who write all the laws.

But my wife and myself ... have deep seated doubt

That the president's actions ... are selling us out.

On MS ... NBC ... a report came right out

And I turned on my 'puter ... to see what it's about

The president wanted ... to avoid real big trouble

He knows very well ... that we're riding a bubble.

I threw open this site ... to see what was the matter.

And saw to my horror ... that it's dreams he will shatter.

Our security,  social...  is up for debate

Some say it's the result ... of a long standing hate

So I searched across google ... to see other opinions

And found Kos is quite special ... as a leftist dominion

They yell "It's Geitner and Nancy and the evil Obama"

Who are out to kill us with congressional trauma

Don't talk to the right ... they are vapid and sleazy

Just make laws yourself ... it's really quite easy.

I thought back to my classes on government's ways

And really think people are caught in a haze.

The president's trying, it's great weight that he totes

But at the end of the day he must gather votes.

If only he could ... with finger to nose

Use magic to fix ... our great nations woes.

So on this Sunday ere Christmas ... I have plenty of gall

To say give the man time ... and Merry Christmas to all.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
