MEETUP
Saturday, March 23, 6:00 p.m.
(Doors open at 5:30)

The Tap Room in the Brewery District
150 W. Sycamore St.
Columbus 43215

Don midwest took on the task of scouting for the venue:

Place: The Tap Room

It is in the Kroger store in German Village. It is on the South side of the store with its own entrance. They have beer on tap and also sell wine. Anything from the store except hard liquor is also available.

They have a nice facility. I have had several meetings there.

They shut down the beer at 7 PM, so if you want a beer on tap, you need to come before then. The Tap Room is still open but you have to access it from the Kroger store. Food is available from the Deli and Pizza. It is right near the Tap Room. There is no charge for the room. We can stay there for as long as we like as long as we behave ourselves and buy anything but hard liquor in the store to drink.

There is no charge for the facility. I called and signed up. We are the only group there at this time and even if a few more people are around, there is lots of space.

It is located at 150 W. Sycamore St, Columbus 43215. It is West of Front St, which makes it West of High Street.

I signed up to start at 5:30 PM on Saturday March 23. Remember to be there before 7PM if you want beer on tap or a glass of served wine.

Unlike almost everyplace in German Village, there is lots of parking.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
