Since the 2012 election, the Tea Party wing of the Republican Party has done an impressive job of scaring away women, Blacks and Hispanics (okay, they never really had the Gays), but I'm just wondering if there isn't someone else they could piss off...

The Oklahoma House of Representatives was apparently having a debate on repealing a bill that prohibits businesses from selling items at a loss as a way of bringing in customers (the law was passed 70 years ago to prevent companies from selling at a loss to run competitors out of business). Into the debate stepped co-Majority Leader Dennis Johnson who opined that service was more important to customers than price, and capped off his comments with this pithy observation (courtesy of the Tulsa World:
He then said some customers “try to Jew me down.”

Perhaps grasping that his opinion might not be well received, Johnson quickly recovered:
“Jews run good small businesses, too.”
You know, I wouldn't be surprised if some of his best friends were....
