I have been working at this position for 5 and a half years, as a Systems and Data Analyst, specializing in web systems deployment, monitoring and automation tools. I know the systems backwards and forwards. I have a lot of history in this project, now I have to impart this wisdom to the greenhorns we recently hired, in a hurry. How can you teach someone who isn't familiar with the nuances of systems, how to be "present" in the systems, to observe the little things that point to a potential problem.
