What Edward Snowden revealed is the inner-workings of a proto-fascist system currently engaging in the implementation of the final stages of a total-information-awareness surveillance system which ultimate purpose is to subjugate and enslave the population at the behest of corporatist business cartels.

He deserves to be celebrated and supported.  In the face of all the lies and deception, greed, cowardice, and criminality of politicians of both corporatist parties, it is a welcome breath of fresh air to see a real demonstration of the actual meaning of patriotism.

Let's get together.  Let's celebrate the courage of this patriot.  Let's join our voices in condemning the imposition of a surveillance police state.

Use technology... If you are near a plaza in New York, or San Francisco, or LA, or Boston, or Seattle, tweet hashtag #murmurationflashmob @ [Your Plaza], i.e. #murmurationflashmob @ SF Union Square.

I'll be sending my tweets on Wednesday: SPARK! - Time For Action - I'm Occupying SF Union Square This Wednesday (06/12/13)

I've already started sharing this idea on twitter:

Flash mobs have recently become a powerful tactic for political protest, particularly under repressive conditions. In the midst of a harsh crackdown on protests in Belarus in 2011, for instance, dissidents calling themselves “Revolution through the Social Network” began organizing impromptu demonstrations where protesters would simply gather in public spaces and clap their hands in unison. The result was the bewildering sight of secret police brutally arresting people for the simple act of clapping their hands — a powerful challenge to the legitimacy of an increasingly irrational regime

Or come up with your own ideas... No need for elaborate preparations for rallies.  Just try to connect with others near you in whatever city you may happen to be.  Congregate at the nearest plaza, and clap your hands in unison, or come up with a chant.  As it happens, invite others, share it on twitter so others are inspired to join.

The 4th of July is coming up soon, so let's get in the mood to celebrate the real meaning of freedom and independence (from proto-fascist ruling elites).

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
