This past month I noticed there was an official document that real estate appraisers were being black listed by banks unless they came up with the inflated bank determined value of the property being financed. This started back in 1999, and I just saw it on RT.com (or similar) news report just last month. Supposedly, this lays the framework for RICO action against the banks and other knowing parties.
Since our state and federal attorneys general have not filed criminal RICO, I saw an ad claiming that one can file civil RICO actions. The ad sells template documents to fill-in and file your own lawsuit. What I am looking for is to join a class action or find attorneys willing to initiate such actions. Does any one know of any current class actions or attorneys willing to initiate such actions, especially in Florida?
Does anyone know of a way to file an action and at the same time and withhold payments while the action is pending?
