Well, here's
some great news for the House Republicans who have no interest in passing legislation to prevent a government shutdown, but can't get enough of Darrell Issa's Benghazi theater:
Republicans are ramping up their investigation into the attacks in Benghazi, Libya, on the first anniversary of the terrorist attack.
House panels have scheduled two hearings next week, and the Intelligence Committee announced that it would be interviewing CIA officers with intimate knowledge of the attack that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans on Sept. 11, 2012.
Rep. Darrell Issa's Government Oversight Committee will hear from the Thomas Pickering and Michael Mullen, who authored the State Department's independent review, as well as experts who assessed Benghazi's security after the attack. Yeah, I knew you'd be excited.
But really, this is great news for the tens of Americans who rallied yesterday to make sure that President Obama doesn't get away with his evil Benghazi coverup (my emphasis):
One year after a brazen ambush killed four Americans in Libya, the Benghazi terror attack remains a persistent source of trouble for President Obama and Speaker John Boehner.
Thousands of demonstrators are expected to descend on the Capitol on Wednesday to mark the Sept. 11, 2012, attack that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.
"Thousands"? Seriously? Take a look at that photo at the top of this post. That's the rally they were talking about. If you think that looks like thousands of people, then you are one of the blessed few who can see the evidence supporting President Obama's impeachment. Everybody else just sees nothing.
