Today, September 16, another rash of fatalities no matter the number in a mass shooting. It's easy to follow mass shootings because it becomes a story, unlike the number of distinct individual shootings that happen on a daily basis (but leave people dead all the same). What also shouldn't be surprising is how long it takes the zany crowd to start screaming false flag.

Jones promoted his Navy Yard shooting conspiracy theory on Twitter, writing, “Who will the Navy yard shooting be blamed on? Terrorist? Tea Partier? Leftist? Lone nut?” He elaborated more on his theory saying “when you have multiple shooters like this, it has patsy written all over it.” Reports are still hazy on the details of the Navy Yard shooting, but police have said one gunman has been killed and the search is on for two other possible suspects. There is no confirmation of whether multiple shooters were involved in the attack. Alex Jones has been known to spin conspiracy theories about large-scale attacks on American soil. In April he said the Boston Marathon bombing also had the markings of a false flag attack perpetrated by the US government. Jones said the true intention of the bombing was to expand the Transportation Security Administration’s reach to sporting events, though this never came to pass
Jones, and so many others are famous for bringing out their "false flag" storyline, that there is a hidden cabal by the administration, anti-gun advocates or others to kill people in order to get what they want. Below, I have a very short retort.
Alex, just so you know:
Lots of people buy guns legitimately and have never had an arrest in the past.. and they turn around to use them to kill someone. Most people are not murderers all the way through, and they shockingly become one with the simplest of weapons a gun. It is the lightbulb problem: "it was working yesterday!" "but today it isn't". They were a law abiding citizen.. until they weren't.
Gun violence is a pesky thing. We can crow about it decreasing or increasing here and there, but the argument that any major event of gun violence is in some way a false flag by the government is a signifier that no matter who is in government, you simply decided that there is no dealing with them because they are cold blooded murderers who kill US citizens for advantage.
Conspiracy nuts love to promote this idea, despite the ridiculous nature of it and the lack of any benefits to any real benefits in a tested environment for any office holder.
It doesn't matter to the loons, who seem to be spending their mornign concocting the idea that this is a conspiracy on the grounds that NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE DIED.

We don’t actually know who the victims are yet, but only 12 people shot, two of which were officers seems like a rather low number for three shooters. We’ve seen some really high numbers in some of these rampages.
The witnesses are describing what sounded like several series’ of three shots, which may or may not be bursts of three shots from M-16’s, rather than AR-15. If this is true, then they could have fired off a lot more rounds than the usual attack.
Other things coming out that point to a coordinated attack are that the suspects may have been dressed in military uniforms. You have to have a sticker on your vehicle and proper ID to get into this military facility, plus other security clearances for certain levels of the shipyard, including this building 197 where the shooting took place.
Why the Washington DC Navy Yard…maybe because we’ve been building up our military for a possible Navy attack on Syria.
Just in case you wondered if the internets were full of crazies, just think for a second this theory: it's a conspiracy concept boils down to this: "3 people easily could have killed more people with those weapons I mean, what were they noobs?"
Not everything fits exactly into your world view, you lunatic right-wing nutjobs. It's not always a media conspiracy/obama conspiracy about you, you narcissistic twits. Can you just give people a few hours to deal with their families and friends for those that died without your half-baked theories on why more people should have died?
So, let me state the obvious: a tragedy occurred. Something terrible happened. Before you start pissing on people's graves why don't you back the hell off and let people deal with loss and wait on your conspiracy goofball crap until people know anything.
Good lord.
