Just wanted to encourage some good thoughts and positive energy to Timaeus as he goes through a lengthy surgery today. I know a diary mentioned that he and his wife were to be there by 5:30 a.m. and that the surgery would last for 6 to 8 hours. That's a long surgery to endure and a long wait for a loved one. So, here's to a successful surgery, a speedy recovery and an end to the pain he's had to endure all of these years.
For some background, here is the diary by joedemocrat that brought it to my attention the other day:
Vigil For Timaeus
Note: I do not know Timaeus, and really haven't interacted much here in recent years, but do appreciate this making the rec list. I don't know if Mrs. Timaeus reads here much but perhaps if she does, and takes a peek as she's waiting, knowing that his fellow Kossacks are pulling for him will give her some added comfort.
