Report from Team RubiPam:
So, we've had a good week in Team RP - after a frustrating night last Thursday, where we had a 3%, a 2.5% and a 1% wipe on Norushen, we were getting pretty irritated at the whole thing. But the team regrouped, geared up a bit over the weekend, and generally went in Monday doing everything right - and it paid off, as we one shot Norushen. It was so fast, we didn't really realize it was happening until it was almost over. Perhaps we should credit the inadvertent workout we had on the trash leading up to Norushen, when the raid was accidently set on 25 man instead of 10 man (I have no idea how that happened, as I used the calendar invite function to start things up and it was for 10 man, but somehow we ended up on 25 man). We weren't wiping on the trash but they were taking forever to die, and we couldn't figure out why until Mageartin realized, forturnately before we hit the mini boss sha, that we were in 25 man. We reset, and while we had to redo the trash, they went down really fast. After taking down Norushen, we turned to the Sha of Pride - all of us had done it on LFR several times, and most of us had done it on flex, but of course, normal is just that much more difficult. We had several wipes, and at about 10:55, Rubi called last pull, Thanael put our traditional last pull pumpkinhead on Pamena, and by golly, we got him!! So we are now through the first wing of SoO - if we were an independent guild raid, we'd be in the top 10 on the server, which is very gratifying. This Thursday, we move on to Orgrimmar, and will take a crack at Galakris - if he proves too difficult, we will go back and reclear the first wing to gear up a bit more.
