RBKA or the Right to Breed and Keep Animals is A Daily Kos group of animal lovers who have liberal values. We don't think that loving animals ( at least not physically, although we might indulge in the odd caress and kiss) means you are anti liberal. Some of us are extreme in our pro animal views (no licensing or restrictions whatsoever) and some of us are more moderate (no salt water crocs in the patio pool).
Moderate or extreme, we hold one common belief - more animal controls means lost elections.

Abraham vs the Confederate States.
The issue is whether the Government (State or Local) needs to know of the intent to supply Pitbulls to a resident in a different jurisdiction which has breed specific laws.
Ok, so I have a gorgeous pair of pitbulls, a bitch and a dog, and as dogs tend to do, whenever the bitch is in heat, the dog rogers her 10 times a day. Surprise, surprise, my bitch is pregnant, and as we are Talibangelicals, we don't believe in birth control or abortion. Anyway, the State Governor cut off funding to planned parenthood, and as we fall into the 110% of the poverty level we don't benefit from Obamacare either.
Now my Dad, who lives in Arpin, Wisconsin loves pitbulls and I want to give him a couple as a Christmas gift, but Arpin regards Pitbulls as dangerous.
Arpin Bans Pit Bulls
Arpin, WI - The village of Arpin will not allow any new pit bulls to live in the community after revisions to the village's dog ordinance were published last week. Aprin joins several other Wisconsin cities that regulate pit bulls including: Neillsville, Hewitt, Juneau and Milwaukee.
Now I obviously don't agree with that, as Pitbulls are responsible for only 60% of fatal dog maulings, which in any case is peanuts compared to the number of people who get shot each week.
In my opinion, pitbull maulings are the fault of irresponsible pitbull owners, and not the fault of the dog, who when treated responsibly are cuddly furry things.
We members of RBKA are by definition responsible dog owners, who go to dog training classes and keep our dogs on a leash when in public. No dog owned by an RBKA member has ever been involved in dog attack, which statistically makes us better than Florida LEO's ( one of whom had a rottweiler who bit a mail carrier)
So what do you think? Should responsible dog owners be punished for exercising their constitutional rights to own breed and transfer their animals?
Next week - Purchasing straw. Is global warming making it hard to keep our horses warm and clean.
