I know this is a short diary but in a piece in the Washingtonpost.com, former NJ Gov Tom Kean who is still popular to this day made a few comments that are worth noting. Tom Kean who is a popular Republican in NJ and who served as a mentor to Christie and even recommended him to the US Attorneys office for where he made a name for himself. But now things have turned interesting. Follow below the fold

The article brings up how even though Kean was a mentor to Christie, Christie turned on his mentor when he tried to unseat Kean's son, Thomas Kean Jr., for Senate Minority Leader in the State Senate and Christie was not successful.
But I think the money quote is this:
On the one hand, I think he’s got a lot to offer. I think he’s the most able politician since Bill Clinton,” Kean (R) said in an interview with The Washington Post. “On the other hand, you look at these other qualities and ask, do you really want that in your president?”
BOLDING MY OWN
It's short and sweet but I think it hits close to home and might be politically fatal, your mentor basically called you out. I guess Tom Kean is settling the family business. Payback is a you know what Christie!!!!!
