I know many here don't believe in the "Christian" way, but lets explore what it means to be a "True Christian" if we may. True Christians believe in all of the teachings of Jesus, and not just the ones that suit them.
A
"True Christian" believes in all of the teachings of Jesus Christ including all of those that spoke on his behave (before his birth, and those that have spoken after his death) these teaching include the 5 beatitudes given by Jesus during his time on the earth. So what are those teachings, and do the current class of Christians follow them? With a resounding "NO", I would have to say, but I'm not trying to judge any one in this matter, because that is something that is covered in the beatitudes that Jesus spoke of himself. Things that the current crop of "Republican Christians" have failed to do, is first not to judge others, and so in my opinion they are only
"Christians In Name Only", because they do not follow all the laws of "GOD" and we should be willing to use this against them.
You ask how do we use this against them? Well it's simple really, we start pointing it out to them, and show them the true meaning of being a Christian, with-out ever having to believe in Christ. Even a non-believer can act as a Christian with-out trying to, because it is human nature to be kind to others, and just because you don't claim to be a believer, many non-believers act more like True Christians while claiming to be those very same non-believers. The teachings of Christ are more in line with the way "progressives treat others than it is in the way the current crop of "C I N O" are treating others. Even Paul Ryan who claims to be a catholic, but has it in for the poor among us. I'm sorry to say but Paul Ryan is a "C I N O" and he knows it, but do you think he cares?
follow me below so we can examine more
1) "True Christians" believe you should treat people the way you want to be treated. So if you treat others with kindness, you would expect others to treat you the same way you treat them.
2) We believe we should take care of our fellow human being. In this country we have done it with the taxes and government, because it would be hard to do otherwise. Have you ever gone to one of those food banks, and not received enough to feed your family for more than 2 days (if your lucky). (Even in the New Testament of the "Bible" starting in Matthew Chapter 25 Verse 25, does this requirement exist for us to do it.) A "True Christian" would never give some one that is asking for help, a hard time over it, because most people don't want a hand out, but a helping hand up.
3) A "True Christian" would not judge some one based on what they believe, or whom they love. Christ taught us by commandment "to love one another" (there are more than 10 commandments given to us by "GOD")
4) A "True Christian" believes that "Free Agency" (another term for this is free will) is a "GOD" given right. What is "Free Agency" you ask, well that is the right to choose for thyself. For this right goes back to the garden of Eden when "God" commanded Adam to not partake of "the fruit of knowledge of good and evil". So you see this is something that all believers should cherish because we want to be able to decide for ourselves, because we also believe that ever human being that has ever lived or will live upon this earth must choose their own path. This is true with abortion also, when it comes to "Free Agency"
5) Christ said "That a man can not serve 2 masters", so today we have most of the "C I N O" worshiping money (just look at Mitt Romney ans ask yourself if this is not true). Christ also said "that it would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven".
6) "True Christians" do not consider themselves to be perfect, but strive to be like our father in heaven, who is perfect. When any human being claims to be perfect, please don't believe them, because all humans are imperfect, but when one strives to be perfect will make mistakes, and may even hurt some ones feelings, because they are not perfect.
All these things we can use against those that are "C I N O" to show them the true nature of the current crop of Republicans, because it is what is written in the teachings of Christ that will turn them around. Once we start using the teachings from the bible against them, most will see the light and the error of their ways. I'm not saying this will be easy, but it may be the only way to get though to people who claim to be "Christian"
