Tal Kopan, of Politico adds Palin says elected officials have a duty to be truthful. Former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, widely known for her ability to distill complicated political subtleties to an essence understandable by the average voter, helps us put the Christie scandal allegations into perspective.
“I just don’t know all the information out there, but it’s hard to be the CEO of an organization and not know what the closest people to you are up to,” Palin said in an interview with “Inside Edition” that aired Tuesday. “I know when I was mayor and manager of this city and then governor of the state, certainly you know what your top aides are up to.
The one-time vice presidential candidate and perennial rumored presidential candidate said that elected officials have a duty to be truthful.
“I just want to make sure that every politician … that you don’t blow it, and you blow it if you ever try to hide anything,” Palin said. “Whatever’s hidden, eventually light shines upon it, and I just hope that truth is being told right now.”
In Sarah Palin attacks Gov. Chris Christie, Palin fails to mention she was involved in her own scandals when Governor of Alaska.
However, Palin failed to mention the "Troopergate" scandal when she was governor of Alaska.
A 263-page report released in 2008, stated that Palin abused her power as governor when she fired Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monega, noted ABC News.
Monega claimed that he was fired because he refused to take action against Mike Wooten, a state trooper who was going through a divorce with Palin's sister.
Palin was not asked if her pique at Christie was colored by yesterday's poll where she was the only potential 2016 GOP candidate Christie beat.
