It's time for the periodic call for D'var Torah diarists. If you enjoy reading these weekly diaries but haven't written one, why not give it a try? None of us are rabbinical scholars. Here are the upcoming weekly readings, through Passover and a bit beyond:
March 29th: Tazria and Shabbat HaChodesh: First Torah reading Leviticus chapters 12 and 13. Second Torah reading Exodus 12: 1-20. Haftarah reading Ezekiel 45:16 to 46:18.
April 5th: Metsora. Torah reading Leviticus chapters 14 and 15. Haftarah reading Second Kings 7: 3-20. Eowyn9
April 12th: Acharey Mot and Shabbat Hagadol (the Great Shabbat). Torah reading Leviticus chapters 16 to 18. Haftarah reading Malachi 3: 4-24 (with line 23 repeated after line 24 to end on a happy note).
Passover begins with the first sedar Monday night April 14th and ends Tuesday evening April 22nd. We can certainly have more than one diaries if more than one wants to volunteer.
April 26th: Kedoshim. Torah reading Leviticus chapters 19 and 20. Haftarah reading Amos 9: 7-15 or Ezekiel 20: 2-20. charliehall2
