I woke up a bit panicky this morning, having dreamed that there was no KA diarist for this evening (bad!). Then I realized that it was our scheduled open thread (good!).Then I remembered that I'm the one who is supposed to do that (ack!). Onward, below the koslique:
We've modified a few things here at KA, for one, a regularly scheduled open thread like tonight's. Another is a schedule update every Wednesday night/Thursday morning (mettle fatigue's idea, and a great one, I think). Linking the Sunday evening KA in other community diaries so that more folks know we're here is another.
I've noticed a lot of new 'faces' in recent weeks, as well as our regulars, and I'd like to invite you all to step in and introduce yourselves to the degree that you're comfortable with, and mingle (if only we could serve margaritas virtually- sigh).
About this time last year, I was pretty close to convinced that KosAbility was going to die a whimpering, unlamented death. It hurt a lot to consider that possibility, because I know that this group played a big part in me continuing to breathe, and I knew that it might be just as important to other folks. Thank you all for your part in continuing to lend a listening ear, your thoughts and experiences, research and virtual hugs.
We may never know exactly who KosAbility has helped, but I'm one of those folks, and I know there are many more.
The bluebonnets are blooming in Texas, and the floor is all y'alls'.
