More below the fold:
Not a lot going on this week, between farm runs and the end-of-expac blues. I do have a Team Z report from Tvath, and we've got Flex-o-rama and Saturday Night Massacre going on, but otherwise it's been a slow week.
Even the news sites didn't have anything worth passing on.
So here's Tvath's Team Z report, and I'm calling it a week:
Team Z, like other raid teams, is dealing with the onset of late-xpac fatigue combined with (finally) spring, which has allowed many people to actually have lives that don't have the threat of snow hanging over them. So it was a bit of a pick-up crew that assaulted the Siege of Orgrimmar on Sunday, with subs including (at various times) Wini the warlock (sorry, I just like saying that), Vanillapie the noble hunter, and our esteemed founder Moodyloner.
The problem we've had with these farm runs in the past is that Norushen continues to be a fiendishly hard fight. Bipolarbear had the happy notion of having one of us bring an alt, get through Norushen and then have the alt hold the lockout so we could start with Sha of Pride on the next farm night. Since our offtank Brumal was taking a rare night off, I brought my tank Nortia to fill this role.
(Nortia is a big black tauren, and she is carrying the Shield of Mockery. Cognosi pointed out that it looks like a "big stupid cow face" on my back. I pointed out that being a tauren, I also have a big stupid cow face on my front.)
Except, well, she couldn't manage to stay alive in the Norushen fight. Sigh. Fortunately we had a ringer with us -- Gromn, Carune's druid, who helpfully agreed to switch to tank so we could get through the fight. I brought my warrior Menrva, and it is she who was there when the corruption was finally foiled, so it is she who will hold the lockout for next farm night.
For a pick-up group, it went amazingly well -- thanks to all who joined in! We're taking next Sunday off from raiding on the grounds that many folks will have Easter plans. If you don't (or if you want to avoid them), hop on and see who's around -- I know I and a few others will be online and I suspect some sort of fun will ensue.
Also this Saturday I'm leading the Saturday Night Massacre, tackling some Outland raids starting with Gruul's Lair. Come join us!

That's all I have this week.
For the Horde!
