The teen was knocked down, handcuffed and pepper sprayed, and a uniformed officer used both knees in his back, to keep him on the ground, breaking several ribs, and preventing him from breathing. Another officer searched the teen's throat with "a sharp object" attempting to find a bag of drugs. The teen became unconscious, and when medical assistance finally arrived, they found he had no pulse. NO drugs were found in the boy's body or on his person. Police officials stated the police followed policy in this drug stop.
