Bullion Shark, an Old Westbury, New York-based company that buys and sells precious metal coins and bullion, is producing a Cliven Bundy commemorative coin, with part of the proceeds apparently funding Bundy's legal defense.
To put it mildly, Bullion Shark has jumped the shark by commemorating a domestic terrorist and deadbeat.
For those of you who don't know who Cliven Bundy is, he's a Nevada rancher who has allowed his cows to graze on land owned by the federal government, and, instead of paying millions of dollars that he owes the federal government, far-right militias supporting Bundy threatened to kill federal officials who tried to round up Bundy's cattle.
The commemorative coins have been authorized by the Bundy Ranch, and are for sale for $49.99 apiece. I wouldn't take a Bundy coin if someone offered one to me for free, and I'm certainly not paying any money for a coin commemorating a domestic terrorist.
I find it disgusting that a company would issue commemorative coins for a domestic terrorist and deadbeat like Cliven Bundy.
