If you look in Washington State trail books, this trail is to Twin Lakes, somewhere near Wenatchee, Washington. These photos were taken last weekend, on Memorial Day...
The hike is a little way out from Seattle, maybe a two hour drive to the trailhead. I wasn't along on this trip, and I've never walked on this trail. Well, I haven't walked on it yet. It does look like beautiful hike, yes? My darlings mr rb137 and Daughter Younger took the buddies out on Memorial Day and found this trail. The buddies love to hike -- even more than they love to help me dig in the garden. No kidding...
So -- I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Mr. rb137 took all of these on his cell phone, I suspect, to entice me to come along next time.
The buddies...
Just a little hill...
Are these orchids? I have to admit that I'm no expert...
Beautiful reflection from the creek below...
Thanks, Kibitzers, for letting me guest post at KTK. I thought these pictures were too beautiful to keep to myself, so I'm sharing them here -- and I'm sorry I can't tell you anything about the trail. If you have questions about it, post them in the comments. I can ask mr rb137 and get back to you. And I think I'll hike there in the fall to take pictures again so we can compare.
Have fun, all!

Kitchen Table Kibitzing is a community series for those who wish to share part of the evening around a virtual kitchen table with kossacks who are caring and supportive of one another. So bring your stories, jokes, photos, funny pics, music, and interesting videos, as well as links—including quotations—to diaries, news stories, and books that you think this community would appreciate. Readers may notice that most who post diaries and comments in this series already know one another to some degree, but newcomers should not feel excluded. We welcome guests at our kitchen table, and hope to make some new friends as well.
