We recently camped for several days at Oregon’s Nehalem Bay State Park located on a sand spit between a bay and the ocean. Every morning I had the opportunity to walk the ocean beach. The walk was often like a moving meditation with the ocean on one side, the dunes on the other, the changing patterns of the sand to the front, and the clouds and sky above. Here are a few photos from my walks.
