Dear Dick Cheney - a thousand deaths are not enough for the likes of you. Dear Wall Street Journal - you are everything that's wrong with America for letting people like this peddle their crap. Dear everyone else - why do we still have this going on?

Shorter Cheney: "Our invasion of Iraq would have worked fine if we had stuck to the plan of spending $100 billion/year on an occupation FOR FOREVER, much of it to Halliburton, and relied on a world order based on hating brown people, invading their countries, and stealing their oil".
Also, the use of the word "emboldened" here suggests the world mentality of a two year old. That the behavior of everyone else in the world is entirely based on your opinion, and if they don't act the way you want, it's because you weren't good enough at having an opinion. The "terrorists" (and what seems to be a fully fledged army might be terrible, but it's not a "terrorist" organization in any sense of the word) can't ever do anything on their own accord, it must just be because Obama emboldened them somehow.
I really don't know why he does it. I really don't. You can say money or you can say power, but I really don't see what he's doing with the money or power that would be worth it. Other than hating brown people and stealing their oil. He must think that the Pax Americana literally has to take after Rome and invade the rest of the world. Or that 1984 was in fact a guideline for a utopian society. ... I really don't know what insanity drives the likes of men like him.
And the Journal. The Journal lets a man lie in every paragraph of a headline-grabbing op-ed, and they encourage him to do so! And the rest of the press will do its thing and nothing will happen.
Why? Why why why? Why does it never change? Why do I have to post my first diary in SEVEN years about the same people from a decade ago making the same dumb decisions they made a decade ago, as if they can't even see what's happened in the last decade. Why?
