Tonight's guests are
Jennifer Esposito on The Daily Show and
Edie Falco on The Colbert Report.
Jennifer Esposito is an actress currently on the shows Taxi Brooklyn and Blue Bloods. She was diagnosed with Celiac disease and opened a gluten-free bakery called "Jennifer's Way Bakery" in Manhattan's East Village. She also wrote a book about her struggle with Celiac titled Jennifer's Way: My Journey with Celiac Disease--What Doctors Don’t Tell You and How You Can Learn to Live Again.
Now Jennifer shares her riveting personal journey—from her earliest memories of her childhood in Brooklyn to her years as a young actress, all the while suffering from unexplained, devastating ailments. Jennifer's struggle to finally receive an accurate diagnosis is one that anyone who has a chronic disease will share. But this is more than a story of suffering. It is the story of one woman's valiant journey to take charge of her health and rebuild her life.
Not only will you learn from Jennifer's personal story, the book also guides you through early diagnosis, sharing the steps that helped Jennifer heal. Plus, you'll find recipes she uses at home, along with recipes for some of the delicious treats she offers at her own gluten-free bakery, Jennifer's Way, in New York.
Edie Falco is an actress known for her past work on the Sopranos and current portrayal of Nurse Jackie on the series of the same name.
If you're not watching Edie Falco's performance this season on Showtime's "Nurse Jackie" you're missing one of the greatest turns ever by an actress on a television series.
Falco has grown in the role - now in its sixth season - since the show began. Because of her character's addiction to drugs such as Percocet, Xanax and Oxycontin, she has lost her husband (Dominic Fumusa), her best friend (Eve Best), the respect of her children (Ruby Jerins and Mackenzie Aladjem), and she may soon lose her patient new boyfriend (Adam Ferrara) as well.George Hatza: Edie Falco is dazzling as 'Jackie'
