Chris McDaniel follows the pattern of far right wing candidates who almost reflexively try to delegitimize their election losses.
.
Your state of Mississippi has what's known as an Open Primary Chris. Does that come as a shock to you? You'd think that the Tea Party's candidates would at least be more familiar with the dynamics of an open primary, and wouldn't be so distrustful of the democratic process. McDaniels feins shock that crossover voting occurs in an open primary, and tries to delegitimize Thad Cochran's voters with a deafening dog whistle.
There seems to be a emerging pattern of conservative disbelief and refusal to accept unfavorable elections results. Tea Party candidates' false sense of entitlement (imparted from the distorted narrative in the right wing media bubble) is so all encompassing, that they can't even accept it when they lose an election.
