... and that word is 'emergency'.
I noticed this as I was catching up on the news this evening and it caught my eye.
5:30 A.M. The U.S. Congress approved $225 million in emergency funding for Israel's "Iron Dome" missile defense system on Friday, sending the measure to President Barack Obama to be signed into law. The House of Representatives approved the funding by a 395-8 vote late on Friday, several hours after the Senate passed it unanimously.

I am sure there will be some who will try to say it's just a legislative funding something or other, but PM "not to ever second-guess me again" Netanyahu seems to be having some supply and funding and PR problems.
Then as I was pondering this I remembered a few more things.
There are the multiple mentions of insufficient funding for IDF training and equipment I have seen in Israeli news media in the past three weeks.
And, there was the 'we were just cycling inventory' hastily arranged supplying of grenades, RPGs, etc. to the IDF by the US military this week.
And, there is the family of the 'captured' IDF soldier demanding that PM Netanyahu can't withdraw from the Gaza Strip until the IDF 'brings my boy back home'.
Yea, sure, whatever you say Mr. PM, I'm sure everything's just fine.
