Received this e-mail today from VoteVets regarding three races this year:
Last month, thousands of veterans, military family members and VoteVets supporters stepped up and contributed to help expand our ad buys outside of Kentucky and into three new states.
Take a look at what all of you helped make happen - three ads, almost $1 million behind them total.
Arkansas
Tom Cotton is a member of the U.S. House looking for a promotion into the Senate this November. But Cotton's "cut at all costs" ideology moved him to vote for a budget that would reduce pension and disability payments for veterans like John Simmons, who starred in our ad.

Michigan
You know Gary Peters. Congressman Peters is a Navy reservist who re-enlisted after 9/11 and has fought for veterans during his time in the House. He too is looking for a promotion to the Senate, and we're going to do our best educate Michigan veterans about his service to country, and in Congress.

Hawaii
Mark Takai is a progressive veteran running for Congress in Hawaii. Hawaii's First Congressional District represents Pearl Harbor, and it should have a veteran in the seat to represent the needs and requirements of the families who comprise the area. Mark is a leader, and we're happy to share his story.

Of course, we're continuing to ensure Kentucky veterans are aware of Mitch McConnell's efforts to block veterans' health care at a time of crisis. We won't lose sight of that mission.
Thanks for standing with us,
