First off I want to tell you all about something very exciting that will occur Wednesday night. For those of us in parts of the USA we'll see a total eclipse of the moon. This includes California but not the central USA. This eclipse of the moon will be a "blood moon" meaning it will look orange-red which is perfect for October if you ask me. This full moon is also known as the "Hunter's Moon."
Another thing about it is "the impossible" will also happen. If you are up at the crack of dawn as in at sunrise you'll be able to see the sun fully up in the eastern horizon and the full moon in the western horizon. This doesn't happen often at all since the sun and moon will be 180 degrees apart. It's due to the atmosphere bending light waves which happens strongest at the horizon.
Now for something really awesome. Twin Peaks will be back for another season in 2016 on Showtime. Showtime will show the entire first two seasons which happened back in 1990 and 1991. After only 25 years we who loved that show will get another nine episodes. Who killed Laura Palmer? These tweets showed up three days ago and today:
Dear Twitter Friends: That gum you like is going to come back in style! #damngoodcoffee

Better fire up that percolator and find my black suit :-) #Twinpeaks

I'm also including a link to a map that really shows where the fight for the US Senate will take place. It looks like less than 3.34% of the populace of the entire USA will determine the outcome. Currently it looks like the Republicans will take it as only 48 Democrats are predicted to be in the Senate after the election less than one month from now...so far. This is an interactive map. Click through it to get a visual idea of what's going to determine who controls the Senate. If you are going to do any phone banking, after you do so for your local elections, put your focus on the 8 states that will determine who controls the Senate. Thank you!

Finally, can you do this? I can and used to practice it years ago. It's kind of cool. It makes your nose tickle after a while. To do it you keep your lips barely open and place your tongue kind of almost like it's going to touch the roof of your mouth. You make the sound in your throat while you move your tongue some, but it never touches any part of the the inside of your mouth except, once in a while, it touches the roof of your mouth. As you move your tongue around some it causes the notes of one tonal to change while the other tonal sorta drones along. I just tried to do in just now and I still can.
