If you vote in the 18th Congressional District of Pennsylvania and you answer "yes" to all or most of the following questions, there will be a way of making your choices known on November 4, 2014.
1. Do you believe all people are created equal and possess certain inalienable rights among which are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?
2. Do you believe the government should have the authority, the power, and the will to protect every one's individual rights and every one's access to a quality Common Good?
3. Would you favor a separation of private enterprise and government similar to the separation of church and state?
4. Would you like the government to protect citizens from abuses by corporations rather than the government enabling such abuses?
5. Do you believe that millionaires and billionaires are not paying their fair share of income tax and payroll tax?
6. Do you believe that every citizen who is unable to work and those over 64 should get the support they need to live a reasonably healthy life?
7. Do you believe that everyone who is able and willing to work should have the opportunity to earn at least enough to afford a healthful lifestyle as opposed to relying on government "charity"?
8. Do you think it is time for the federal government to stop subsidizing large profitable corporations with multi-billion dollar entitlements?
9. Would you like to see the National Debt paid and America's problems solved before the Federal Government spends more billions overseas?
10. Do you think it is time for government to stop spending money to benefit special interests and time to limit spending to that which benefits the general population?
11. Should the government be as big and powerful as it needs to be (but no more so) in order to serve all citizens?
