Tonight,
The New York Times has an article out that features Ferguson PD Officer Darren Wilson's point of view told to federal investigators on the shooting of Mike Brown that occurred on the afternoon of August 9th, 2014.
This is the
same paper that called the now-deceased Brown "no angel" on the day of his funeral, no less. This may be a very sad sign that Wilson gets away scot free whenever the indictment decision gets handed down, but he should be indicted and convicted.
Of course, the conservative media apparatus is running wild with the story to further support their pro-Wilson/anti-Brown bias to claim that he was innocent and justified in his actions (which he wasn't).
Paul Szoldra at Business Insider:
Officer Darren Wilson told investigators he feared for his life during a struggle with 18-year-old Michael Brown inside his police SUV, according to The New York Times, which published the first account Friday detailing Wilson's perspective of the shooting death of Brown two months ago.
Citing officials familiar with the federal civil rights investigation, The Times reported Wilson as having fired twice inside the vehicle, then firing four more times at Brown outside. Forensics tests found blood from Brown on the interior door panel, and on Wilson's gun and uniform.
Wilson's story confirms details from some witnesses, while contradicting others. Brown's friend Dorian Johnson, who was with him during the incident, said Wilson grabbed Brown by the throat and pulled him into the vehicle and fired at him inside. But according to The Times, Wilson places Brown — who was unarmed — as an aggressor who pinned him inside the vehicle while punching and scratching him.

Although we know more of Wilson's side, it's still not exactly clear what occurred between Wilson's stop of Brown and Johnson for walking in the middle of the street to Brown's death just three minutes later.
The New York Times' article on Darren Wilson's viewpoint of the shooting event that occurred on the afternoon of 08.09.2014:
“What the police say is not to be taken as gospel,” Mr. Crump said, adding that Officer Wilson should be indicted by the grand jury and his case sent to trial. “He can say what he wants to say in front of a jury. They can listen to all the evidence and the people can have it transparent so they know that the system works for everybody.”
He added: “The officer’s going to say whatever he’s going to say to justify killing an unarmed kid. Right now, they have this secret proceeding where nobody knows what’s happening and nobody knows what’s going on. No matter what happened in the car, Michael Brown ran away from him.”
Joe Militzer at Fox2now.com:
Many eye witnesses have come forward. But, so far, no one except the Grand Jury in the case has heard from Officer Darren Wilson. According to the New York Times, Wilson has told federal civil rights investigators his account of what happened that Saturday afternoon.
Wilson says he was pinned in his car and feared for his life as he struggled for his gun with Michael Brown. He says that during the scuffle Brown reached for his weapon. Two gunshots were fired in the car, one bullet hit Michael Brown in the arm, the second bullet missed.
Officer Darren Wilson also tells investigators that Brown punched and scratched him repeatedly. This left swelling in his face and cuts on his neck.
Shaun King correctly tells the truth and says that Darren Wilson was uninjured in the immediate aftermath the incident:
Of course, Jim Hoft distorted the truth about the story as usual, by falsely claiming that "Michael Brown beat up Darren Wilson" in order to further support his debunked fractured eye socket hoax claim.
Ferguson protestor Charles Wade calls out this article for what it is: a clickbait attempt to defend Wilson and discredit Brown:
