Anti-fracking activist Lauren Steiner urges everybody concerned about stopping environmentally destructive fracking operations in California to help out on the campaigns to pass Measure J in San Benito and Measure P in Santa Barbara:
The two county bans on fracking – Measure J in San Benito and Measure P in Santa Barbara – are in such a tight race that literally every conversation they have could be the make or break vote. The difference between winning and losing will come down to you.
"I’m not even kidding. Big Oil has sunk millions into these counties to make sure they can keep fracking.
That’s why they need all Californians helping them win these critical No votes by phonebanking from your home, office, or group’s space, or by canvassing with them in-person.
This really is your opportunity to make a tangible difference in banning fracking, and both these Measures desperately need you to rise to the occasion.
