So far we have ,in spite of the polls, some positive news
Nate Cohn reported a change in Colorado where the incoming ballots are favoring Democrats. Will it be enough / I don't know There is a ground game and they will do their best to get every possible vote- hopefully turning registered voters into likely voters
In North Carolina and Georgia early voting has been better than anticipated. Again favoring Democrats
There was a thread in Alaska that Begich leads in early voting.
Will all of this be enough? I am lousy about predictions. But so far, the anticipated drop off in voting associated with midterms may be false (so far)
I am trying not to be falsely optimistic nor totally pessimistic
We do know that high turnouts favor us and low turnouts favor them and ideally and electorate that resembles 2012 as opposed to 2010 increases the possibility of a positive outcome.
I guess we all know what we have to do:
Vote, get someone to vote, drive people to the polls .If you can: do the phone banks, canvass None of this guarantees a victory. But doing nothing guarantees defeat .
