Two masked men made off with quite a weapons haul in
Wichita, Kansas on Tuesday night:
Surveillance images show the masked suspects burglarizing the gun shop around 5 a.m. Tuesday. They broke the display cases inside, put around 30 handguns in a bag and ran off in a minute's time before police or the owner could arrive.
Police haven't named any suspects, but they are warning the public about buying weapons second-hand:
"If you see a deal that's too good to be true on a new gun, you might want to check with the Wichita PD pawn unit, and they'll run that serial number and make sure it's not stolen," Knapp said.
The owners of Knapp Weaponry said they were upgrading security.
