Good morning Daily Kos readers ... pop quiz, who said this:
"I hate to say it, but we need to copy what Howard Dean did, and that is make our ground game in all 50 states," wxyz told pdq abc on Monday. "While we had a reasonably good ground game in places like Ohio and Florida -- look, we didn't have a ground game in a lot of these states with Senate races and so we lost North Dakota by 3,300 votes. We lost [Montana] by 17,000 votes. We need to have a better ground game in all 50 states."
There's a poll below to register your answer to this question.
Here's a hint, for those searching for the right answer to the question of why the Dems were drubbed so thoroughly last week and who fear more beatings until morale improves ... the 50 State Strategy is the gift that keeps on giving to whomever has the wisdom to use it.
I am pretty certain there were elections in all 50 states last week ... somehow the overwhelming Dem focus was on the Senate elections to the detriment of state legislative, governorship and cabinet races and races further down the ticket.
Daily Kos has a petition drive going now asking the DNC to adopt the 50 State Strategy, I can't find a link to it on the web site - it's one of those pop up windows when you arrive to the site. If someone can direct me to the link, I'll post it as an update.
Good luck with the poll, and, no peeking at the tags to cheat on your answer!
