Tonight's guests are Sophie Delaunay on The Daily Show and Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga on The Colbert Report.
Sophie Delaunay is the executive director of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in the United States.
I'm sure they will be discussing Ebola.
Democracy Now Had a small update about Ebola today
The World Health Organization says Liberia and Guinea have met a goal to treat 70 percent of patients suffering from Ebola, while Sierra Leone has not. The agency warned it may not reach a year-end goal to isolate and care for all patients. But Antony Banbury, head of the U.N. Ebola response mission, cited progress.
Antony Banbury:
"The global response to the Ebola crisis has succeeded in turning this crisis around. Where we were 60 days ago compared to where we are now, we, by we I am talking about all actors in the response, are extremely successful in getting this crisis under control. We are far away from being out of the woods, but there has been remarkable result achieved in the past 60 days.
"
At least there is some good news about that.
Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga
Are two very well known musicians, which you knew already. What you may not have known is they collaborated on an album, released back in September, called
Cheek to Cheek which has mostly favorable
reviews.
I like it, they sound pretty good together.
