Hey!
We missed you last Saturday (unless you were there; thanks ColoTim for joining us!). What is so far myself plus a few of my Non Kossack But Nonetheless Awesome Activist Friends met yet again in mostly sunny Sunnyside at local legend Common Grounds Coffeehouse to hang out & talk about Stuff That Matters Etc. for a few hours. We discussed the Stop 10 situation (and as it happened, a Stop 10 meeting was happening right there, so they came over for a bit), & we also got to meet Mickki Langston, a candidate for Denver City Council District 7 (election in May). She is exactly the kind of person we need on the city council; she does work networking local businesses, promoting local sustainable food production, socioeconomic justice, all that. District 7 is much of south-central Denver, so if you know people there, or if you ARE people there, check out her website.
Drinking Liberally is this Wednesday night, 7-10ish, Three Dogs Tavern, SE corner of 32nd Ave & Julian, & be sure to read the signs about resident parking S of 32nd.
