It is not the Torture Report that is putting America lives in danger.
What is putting American lives in danger, right now, is America's refusal to prosecute those who committed war crimes.
Currently, those rightwingers who want to live in a county whose government commits war crime are yelling:
Marco Rubio: "the Torture report puts American lives in danger."
and
Fox News' Andrea Tantaros: "... all this [Torture Report] does is have our enemies laughing at us, that we are having this debate again,"
Which both are complete bullshit. Our "
enemies" are not "
laughing at us," our enemies are getting pissed off and saying '
who the f'ck does America think it is?'
To underscore my point ...
8:01 PM, December 8, Marco Rubio tried to give the world the illusion that America gives a flying fig about Human Rights because Rubio sponsored and got passed a Bill to sanction Venezuela for Human Rights Violations:
Yet, within 15 hours of Rubio sitting on his high and moral horse made of wrinkled playing cards -- Rubio showed the world he doesn't really give a damn if Governments commit human rights violations, war crimes and/or illegally torture people.
ummm .... isn't one reason Rubio's parents left Cuba because they did not want to live in a country whose government committed war crimes?
Yeah, the fact that America committed war crimes is bad enough. But, not prosecuting those who committed the war crimes is a crime in and of itself ... and that is what is putting American lives in danger now.
Not only is America's refusal to prosecute war criminals putting American lives in danger, it also shows America has become the enemy it claims to loathe.
America has become the enemy of democracy and the enemy of laws:
After yesterday, we now have a glaring view that America is no different from our 'enemies' -- we just hide our war crimes better than they do.
Like our 'enemies':
- America commits war crimes,
- America hides our war crimes,
- America justifies committing war crimes,
- America demonize those who do not 'appreciate us' for our war crimes,
- America refuse to prosecute our war criminals.

Exceptional? No ... but we could be.
