While I have discussed at great length my disdain for the whole Apatow Frat Pack, and in particular Seth Rogen, the fact is the movie was made. Once the movie was made, distribution agreements signed, and marketing initiated..
YOU HAD TO RUN THE FILM. I did not want to see it, and I feel it should never have been made, but that is an opinion. Regal, AMC, Cinemark, and Cineplex have all essentially cratered under the weight of threats from the hackers.
Doing this sets a massively disturbing precedent allowing any rogue group to essentially edit free speech.
The movie was a bad idea, in poor taste, and beneath our country.
But it has a right to be, and certainly has a right to be without deference to terrorists.
