Obama should invite Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to the White House for an informal "chat", and then extend the same invite to Netanyahu to join them after his speech over at the Congress~"Since they would both be just down the street from each other and in the neighborhood". The news story would totally change, robbing Boehner and Bibi of their snub intent and all the MSM coverage. A new and more important story would suddenly appear and trump it.
Press from around the world would suddenly be waiting for Netanyahu's response.... and reporting on what he said, instead of just the speech.
If he didn't accept, he would be portrayed as the stubborn party and big cause of the current problem. If he accepted, then the whole story would be about the informal talks and "a step forward", led by Obama.
It's SO Obama, too. It's logical, its "reaching out to all parties", it deflates the importance of Bibi and Boehner trying to best him by drawing the press to the "larger issue at stake".. and he puts the ball in Netanyahu's court.... " come have a chat with us".. at the same time, the whole MSM story is not about Bibi being at Congress snubbing Obama. By doing this, Obama is saying.. "Fine, talk to Congress.. and I am upping the ante.. and is implying ( as in "Proceed, Governor") "by the way.. "Checkmate." Your trapped and can't get out this easy in either way.
Watch Boehner's head explode as a bonus.
