A touch of Spring on a WeatherTec Liner
WeatherTech deserves to be noticed, and used as a working model, of industry best practices. I was captivated by the advertisement which ran for the first time on Superbowl Sunday. So, I took a close look at this company. The claims they made in the advertisement all seem to be true. The products are expensive, but they are high quality, and their purchase helps to support other working Americans.
♥ They built all their manufacturing plants in the United States.
♥ They are staffed by Americans, who are paid a living wage.
♥ They source all their materials in the United States.
♥ They aim for zero impact on the environment.
♥ They produce a quality product.
♥ They offer superior customer service.
We live in an era where most corporations are ruled by the bottom line. They do not attempt to provide a safe, clean, well lighted environment for their employees. Most corporations are manufacturing in whatever country it is cheapest, and they pay as little as possible. Many use the cheapest substandard supplies available. If their manufacturing practices leave behind a polluted environment, they don't seem to care. All that is important is profit.
I think that a company which actually promotes and follows "industry best practices" as a corporate mandate, should be recognized for it.
Kudos to WeatherTech and to the parent company MacNeil Automotive Products Ltd.
