"The J Word." A redneck woman by the name of Kristi Capel, a former Miss Missouri who was raised in Northern Kentucky and works for the Fox propaganda channel in Cleveland, claims she didn't know that "jigaboo" is a racial slur. Really?
Let's see. Raised in Kentucky, so high probability that she heard plenty of racial slurs. I should know. I was raised in and live in Kentucky, and I have heard many a racial epithet in my time.
A former Miss Missouri to boot. Not to condemn all of Missouri, but Missouri has been making the rounds lately when it comes to racial problems. So probability that she never heard a racial slur in Missouri is slim.
Finally, she is working for Fox in Cleveland. I know this is pot calling the kettle black, but Cleveland is, sadly, not a paragon of racial harmony. While the "J word" may not be in vogue in Cleveland, I wouldn't say that the chances are zero that is it NEVER uttered there.
And we are talking about Fox. It is not like Fox is run by a group of ancient white conservative men. Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes are very young hipsters, and I'm sure the other youngins they have at Fox have no idea what jigaboo means.
And I like how she said this to an African American. It brings to mind all those times I have heard racists insult other minorities to their face. I'm sure Capel found it "empowering" to insult an African American man on camera.
So, no Kristi. I think you are a lying sack of shit, and I am saying that from the bottom of my heart as a fellow Kentuckian.
